Liverpool vs Atalanta 0-3

Manager Gian Piero Gasperini masterminded a historic win for Atalanta in this Europa League quarter-final match away AT ANFIELD.

3 – NIL. Where did that come from?

Liverpool did not look good and might have given up more than the three goals in this one.

Gianluca Scamacca scored two goals for the visitors, who go back to Bergamo heavily favoured to reach the semi-final round.

Jurgen Klopp will no doubt be starting a much stronger eleven when Liverpool face Crystal Palace at home on Sunday. They need all three points from that match to keep up with Premier League leaders Arsenal.

And Klopp was not holding back anything in his post-match comments:

“It was a really bad game, oh my God… I’m here just saying congrats to Atalanta. We lost the plot a bit. Zero positives to say, we where everywhere and so also nowhere”. (@FabrizioRomano)

Everywhere and nowhere.

Tough place to be.
